scientists use many tools to accomplish their jobs. these tools are not like hammers and screwdrivers, but are mental tools like reasoning , inferring, and others. they observe to gather info about what something is. they infer by looking at and deciphering or analyzing what is happening or what has happened. they predict using prior knowledge to guess what will happen.
I saw a certain amount of water go into the small box before it all came out. it was black and had 2 holes in the top and 1 plastic tube sticking out of the bottom. in the top, there was one small hole and 1 large 1, I think the large was 2 cm in diameter and small one was one one cm. water was poured into the top and shortly after rushed out of the bottom.
Inside of it, I think here is nothing. the water has suction, just like a straw with a finger on top. also,there might just be a cup with a weight. there are many more heroes, but i think most are impossible. i think there might be a wall that goes down at a certain weight, letting the water through.
when i first saw the diagram of the enigma box, i was confused. i thought all my guesses were very wrong, until it was explained. it operates on air pressure, being that when there is enough it all comes shooting out pushed by the air pressure. it is, as I guessed, like a straw
